Thai Inspired Palms

Wearing:
Vintage vest, MAC makeup cosmetics, jumper, black vest worn underneath and shoes from Ragz Dressware and Blues and Shoes boutiques. Jewelry is a mixture of pieces from ROOST CO. wholesale company, Anthropologie, Blues and Shoes, and lastly, the handmade brass hammered hoops I created.
Concept/Location: Was a mutual collaboration between myself and my photographer Julie Jones. We stumbled upon this Palm tree farm on a whim within the outskirts of Rancho Bernardo here in San Diego, CA.

Hi Loves!

So this shoot was quite a treat because it was actually plan B,
yep, this location where these images were taken was found by accident. Last week my good friend and photographer Julie and I randomly came across this palm tree farm after our first initial location spot fell through. But you know what, I wouldn't have had it any other way because this whole look came together really well in my opinion. I love the whole yoga, Thai, bohemian, eclectic feel this whole photoshoot came out to be.

What do you think? Honest and positive critical input from my readers is very much appreciated.

The original spot in which we wanted to shoot it was the mosaic park in Escondido, CA called Queen Califia's Magical Garden but when we showed up that overcast morning it was closed. There was no way in except for small parties that had to call ahead of time or to go on the second Saturday of every month when it was open to the public... Pretty much we figured that it just wouldn't work so we improvised and what you see above are results of creative critical thinking/ problem-solving at its finest!

This week I have a few more interesting posts coming your way so stay tuned and be sure to follow me and check back for more inspiring creative looks.

I hope everyone's week is off to a wonderful start so far!

XOXO
