AIRBNB STAY: UNION SKYHOUSE WASHINGTON

 

Hello Loves!

Today I'm BACK BABY with another rad review filling you in on this very unique Union SkyHouse Airbnb stay. Recently I had the pleasure of being a guest for two nights and three days at this secluded mid century modern 1970's build with a tower over looking the Puget Sound. This area alone is incredibly beautiful, lush and green in the upper west mountains of Washington about 30-45 minutes north of Washingtons state capitol, Olympia. Accompanied by none other than my best friend and travel companion Vanessa from @vanessa.rosa.wolf we hiked the mountains, soaked in this marvelous indoor hot tub and took in some of the most memorable views this area had to offer.

If hiking is more your thing then don't worry I'll have lots of recapping of some of the most well known and popular hikes in the area for my next post coming soon. Not only does this large house sleep 18 people but it is a multi level building with several wrap around decks so theres 360 views all around the property. Not to mention the main feature of the house the tower in the center of the property built and designed by an architect in the 70's this structure still has loads of original charm and character. 

Some of my favorite features of this house include:

* The Sky-room: which is only 98 steps upstair towering on top of the rest of the property with 360 views of the Olympic Mountains and surrounding terrain, trust me it's stunning...

*Fireside Vibes: The Skye house has several fireplace set us including a wood burning indoor and gas outdoor fireplace as well as a third option on the side of the house for a good old fashion classic fire-pit. There really is something for everyone.

*Too Hot for The Hot Tub: lol yes who doesn't LOVE an indoor hot tub with a view of the natural landscape and seclusion from nosy neighbors.

Wrap Around Decks: Need I say more?

*Record Player and TV's: So upstairs in the sky-room sits a record player with many records to choose from and back downstair there is two different entrainment rooms set up to watch movies, shows and even video games, perfect for the whole family.

Sounds pretty cool right? Well, I'm not lying when I tell you is actually is. It was such a joy staying here with my own master bedroom, private bathroom and walk in closet. The bed was comfortable and even had a couch, TV and access to the deck that wraps around  the entire house.
