Staying In A Vintage Camping Trailer in Packwood Washington

Hello Loves!

I'm BACK with a long awaited blog post today I've been meaning to share about for quite some time now and in all honestly I should've posted this a lot earlier in the year. But oh well, here we are now and I finally get to share with you all about a fun trip I was able to go on this past summer season with my best friend Vanessa from @vanessa.rosa.wolf up in Packwood Washington. There's plenty of wonderful things to say about my experience at this Airbnb trailer but what was most charming was my host Karli, her sweet husband and playful little son that were just the happiest most kind hearted family I've met living up here in the Pacific Northwest.

If you've never heard of Packwood Washington then you need to add it to your list of destinations to travel because its a lovely little mountain town tucked in between Mount Rainer and Mount Saint Helens up in the Pacific Northwest. This area is known for it's close drive up to Mount Rainer National Park which was such a breath taking place to explore in person. From it's gorgeous hikes, to it's crystal clear lakes and epic waterfalls this National Park is easily one of my favorites. Perhaps I'll have another full blog post coming your way recapping my day spent up on the mountain soon as well...

This cute little camping trailer was perfect for me to stay in and was actually decorated to perfection with retro trinkets, posters and outdoor memorabilia. I WAS IN LOVE! The owner Karli certainly has a knack for souring the most precious items to adorn the three different camping trailers on her property. Vanessa got to stay in her own 1970's groovy trailer which you can see a peek of HERE. These trailers are also very reasonably priced for a night or two and could easily fit a dog or partner no problem. There was outdoor solar showers, running water and each night the hosts also had a campfire going with a great view of the stars and wildlife in the area, can you say, HELLO DEER? haha I defiantly spotted some elk and deer on this trip which was exciting for a city girl like me.

I feel like these images pretty much tell you the rest of our story from our stay there so I'll just go ahead and leave the booking info, links and whatnot below for you to check out. I should mention that this listing is mostly only available in the warmer months of the year. The host family shuts it down for the winter season since it gets a bit to cold with snow and whatnot. But you NEED to save this affordable, cute and quirky listing on AIRBNB for the next time you want to literally get away for the weekend!
