Gabriel Cosmetics

Hi Loves!

Happy Monday my friends, I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Last week was super busy for me from celebrating my 3 year anniversary with my handsome and lovely boyfriend in Bend Oregon and hiking around Smith Rock which is one of Oregon's 7 natural wonders to working a lot of shifts I'm back to my daily grind this week. Tonight I even have a Blogger Instagram Event to attend in a few hours at DIY Bar with the Blooming Bloggers hosting, I've been looking forward to his for weeks now so I'm very excited to attend. But mainly today I wanted to talk about the clean beauty products Gabriel Cosmetics
so kindly sent me for review...

So let's talk about Gabriel cosmetics for a second, I recently reached out to them to see if I could get my hands on a few items I've been curious to try lately since I've been making the switch to all natural products in my life. Gabriel's make up is Vegan, Gluten Free, All Natural and Cruelty-Free which for me checks off all the things on my list for "Clean Beauty" standards. What do you think?

I've already been wearing their powder compact foundation for a few months now since I stopped using my MAC Studio Fix powder foundation which I used to not be able to live without but this Gabriel brand has filled its place for the time being. I asked to test out their under eye concealer as well because sometimes I need a little extra coverage to mask the bags under my eyes and this stuff seemed to do a good job. They also sent me some mineral highlighter which I LOVE because I can not ever get enough highlighters in my makeup bag. This one I especially enjoyed since it's all mineral based so it's light and sheer and reflects light so pretty and subtlely on top of my blush. The other thing I always run out of and hate getting in my eyes is Mascara, theirs didn't itch or irritate my eyes which is nice since my eye always seems to water when I put on mascara. The other items pictured above that I've been is their sheer cream highlighter in the shade Thistle that I use on my eyelids as a base to put my eyeshadows on top of. From what I can tell it doesn't crease on my lids and holds the eye shadow pigment colors in place very well. Lastly, I also asked for a new everyday natural lipstick and Gabriel followed through with the shade Soft Berry, it's so creamy and light too, I love it.

I will say these products when worn together make for a very natural, soft and pretty overall makeup look as you can see in the above photos of me wearing them.

I wanna know what do you guys think? Do you like this all natural makeup look?
I do, personally, I usually start with a base makeup look like this most day anyway and add on more color, definition or pigment as I please.

This makeup certainly checks off all the things I tend to look for when wearing everyday makeup. It doesn't irritate my skin at all and in fact, is so breathable I forget that I have it on sometimes. It doesn't feel cakey or heavy on my face at all which is a must for since I hate feeling like the makeup is wearing me. This makeup also sits better on your skin as the day goes on too, I only touch up my lipstick or powder my nose occasionally and even still looks better the more I put on. You definitely can't really overdo it when applying this stuff and blends so smoothly on my skin.

If your curious for trying this makeup for yourself you can find their products online HERE and at your local health food stores like New Seasons here in Portland, Sprouts or Whole Foods. They usually have tester stations in the store too so you can try out some of the lines while your grocery shopping!

I hope you found this little article helpful if your considering trying natural makeup, I sincerely hope you give it a try. You might find you like it more than you thought! I'll definitely be wearing this brand for now on...

Big Thanks to Gabriel cosmetics for making this post possible and to my dear photographer friend Ericka for taking these fantastic photos for me.

Till next time Loves!

XOXO

    1. Why thank you! Sometimes it's fun to go all out but lately I've defiantly been more into the everyday natural thing, it's just easier if anything.

Thanks for the nice comment Adi.
